Meget hyggeligt landsted der drives af fantastisk søde mennesker. Dejlige soveværelser man føler sig hjemme i og alt er meget rent og pænt. Morgenmad kan varmt anbefales som tilkøb! Eneste minus er at der er meget lydt, så det høres når gæsterne kommer og går, men til den pris kan man ikke klage 🙂

We chose this place because it is near to Frederikshavn (and to Hirtshals), where our ferry left in the morning, and it is a lot cheaper than hotels in Frederikshavn.||This is an old farm house, the rooms are small and offer no luxury. The common bath room, though, is very large. The site is completely quiet.||||The place can be hard to find, you better follow the instructions to get there carefully.||||The host, Brit, is very friendly and helpful.||For a little extra, she offers breakfast in the morning. You can arrange both the time and the contents of that breakfast with her. A very pleasant experience!

Have just stayed at Ellekaer-Gaard for the second time. The house is spotlessly clean, the twin beds are very comfortable and the hosts are the most welcoming and friendly we have ever found. Nothing is too much trouble. On our arrival we were offered tea and cakes in the sitting room alongside the bedroom. After a really tasty breakfast with eggs, meats, cheeses, cereal, honey and delicious home made bread we were offered cake and fruit to eat on our continuing travel.||The house is around 25 minutes drive from Frederikshavn so ideal for travelling on the Göteborg ferry.||If you are in North Jutland, do not miss this delight. www.ellekaer-gaard.dk
